Perfectly equipped for digital and hybrid events

Supervisory board meetings, panel discussions, workshops, conferences or cultural events in digital and hybrid form: The Schwabenlandhalle Fellbach is perfectly equipped for the future way to host events. With the aid of professional AV equipment, lighting and sound systems, making contents available on various platforms, a stable internet connection and specially trained staff, all kinds of event formats can be hosted digitally and hybrid.

"With the Hölderlinsaal, the Hesse room and the Daimler room, we offer adaptable rooms and studios and can meet specific client requirements," says Fellbach Event & Location GmbH CEO Jens Mohrmann. Flexible studio and production spaces ranging from 80 to 400 square metres with various blackout options and stage setting that can be customised offer the ideal conditions for professional recordings and streaming.

Many clients have already used the studios: For example, a major internationally active company streamed a digital convention from the Studio Süd in the Schwabenlandhalle that was attended by 650 people via webcast. Another medium-sized company, on the other hand, spent a whole day recording a kick-off event at the Schwabenlandhalle that was shot in various sections and with professional make-up staff which was subsequently broadcast to all employees. In addition, the adaptable studios and rooms are also a popular booking choice for the realisation of hybrid meetings. "We are delighted that bot international global players as well as small and medium-sized companies utilise the potential we offer, and host their digital and hybrid events here," says Mohrmann.

Particularly the realisation of hybrid events appeals to many event organisers: Whilst several participants meet up live, i.e. in person, at the venue, an unlimited number of contributors or listeners can join them online at any time and participate in the event in a way that meets the Covid regulations.

However, not only the Schwabenlandhalle but also the Alte Kelter has already proved its worth as a streaming venue. Thanks to the high-speed broadband connection that is required for stable streaming, professional AV, lighting and sound systems and flexible technical stage equipment, as well as the generous space, the top-class technology in the Alte Kelter has already been used to broadcast a concert via a live stream. Although the SWR has recorded at the Alte Kelter before, this was the first time that a performance was live streamed.
